How long is the warranty period?

The warranty period for all products appearing on the Flashbay website is 10 years beginning from the date of purchase as indicated on the invoice or receipt. The 10 years warranty is effective for orders placed after 10th August 2009 and prior to this date, the former warranty period of 1 year applies.

What does the warranty cover?

The warranty does not cover the repair or exchange of products resulting from misuse, accident, modification, unsuitable physical or operating environment, incorrect maintenance by yourself, or failure caused by a product for which Flashbay Limited is not responsible. Damage caused by fair wear and tear is also excluded. Failure or undesirable operation is excluded where products are used with specialist or custom hardware or software or used in an application other than general storage of non-critical data.

Does Flashbay Limited grant warranty on all their products?

All products appearing on the Flashbay website (http://www.flashbay.com/) are warranted to be free from defect in material and workmanship.

In what cases does the warranty become void?

Proof of purchase or shipment date is required to validate the warranty period. Warranty becomes void if equipment is modified, incorrectly used, damaged by accident or neglect, or if any parts are improperly installed or replaced by the user.
